I’m Lidia Stolyarova, a Ukrainian-based freelance retoucher specializing in high-end fashion and beauty post-production. I’ve been retouching for 17 years – long enough to know that every image has its own rhythm.
My vision comes from my time away from the screen, specifically through lomography and drawing. These disciplines demand slowness and intentional observation. Film trains my eye to respect the nuance of natural grain and mood, while drawing deepens my understanding of how light defines form.
Together, they shape my approach to every image: knowing what to enhance and what to leave untouched. I make sure skin keeps its texture, colors keep their depth, and the story always shines.
