I’m Lidia Stolyarova, a freelance retoucher specializing in high-end fashion and beauty.
I’ve been retouching for 17 years – long enough to know what to enhance and, more importantly, what to leave untouched. My vision is shaped by my time away from the screen, specifically through drawing and lomography. These disciplines taught me to respect the nuance of natural grain and to understand deeply how light defines form. By demanding slowness and intentional observation, they bring balance to my digital workflow, allowing me to preserve the subtle imperfections that keep an image feeling real and complete. My goal is always to remain invisible: ensuring skin keeps its texture, colors keep their depth, and the story always shines.
